This work positions language as both tool and act of resistance. A vintage typewriter sits at the centre of the composition, overgrown with flowers, figures, and fragments of memory—suggesting poetry not as something precious or removed, but something made in the thick of lived experience.
By recontextualising archival imagery, the work draws together softness and defiance, humour and seriousness. Words emerge not as decoration but as interruption—small, deliberate acts that challenge silence and reclaim narrative authority.
Created through slow, analogue processes of cutting, layering, and typewriting, Guerrilla Poetry frames writing as an embodied practice: intimate, unruly, and quietly insurgent.
